FRIENDSHIP

Well.. Many a times i tried to write a blog out here. but never had patience  πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ :P… And here comes my first blog. I was just thinking of a topic to ramble here as my first blog and friendship was the word that popped up on my head instantly. So here it goes…

Who is a friend? Friendship means different things to different people.  It isn’t always easily described.  Instead of different words we’re stuck with simple adjectives like close friend, best friend, trusted friend, beloved friend, childhood friend  and the list goes endless.. What ever way you name them. Friends are special people. They are an indispensable part of one’s life. Friendship is not about spending a major part of your day, just by sitting next to each other within the four walls of the class room.;its about the quality time that you share. Its not about asking “May i help you”. Its about saying “don’t worry we’l get over it”. Its not about having unity in opinion. But the mutual understanding to respect the differences. Its not about talking all the time, but the art of being a good listener. Its not about laughing all the time, but to  cheer up when one cries. Its not about making promises, its about the implied trust that one has on his/her friend.  Friendship is not about hanging out to movies and beach, its not about celebrating birthday’s,its not about exchanging gifts. It simply means “TOGETHERNESS”. All of us can have any number of friends. But only the lucky ones have best friends on all phases of their lives. I’m happy to be a lucky one. Our paths may change as life goes on but the bond between the friends remains ever strong. Thanks to the technology. Without which having touch with friends for years and years who stay miles apart from us would be impossible. Love your friends for what they are πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
